Jeep
Jeep is that hard hitting vehicle that looks as if it needs to go out into the woods to go mud running yet makes a great family vehicle. Jeep is just one of those companies that have a long history that can be traced back into the early 1900’s. The vehicles that they produce are also pretty epic in the sense that they have changed how everyone wants to drive around. With the ever increasing popularity of the Sport Utility Vehicle people don’t want a small car they want enough room to stretch out and to be able to carry their whole family without any problems. Surely any one of the cars that Jeep has to offer can accommodate this need.
Much like many other companies Jeep was created in the early 1900’s specifically 1908. The company was started when John North bought the Overland Automotive division of the Standard Wheel Company. The company would be renamed to the Willy’s Overland Company and not much would happen for a few years after that. After the depression the company wanted to help our military so he made a contract to make 350,000 jeeps for the military in World War II. In 1945, after the war, the company started producing civilian jeeps.
Many cars would be released in the next twenty years that would sell and make Jeep look, and like a giant among the all ready anchored car companies. Kaiser would buy the company too and rename it the Willy’s Motor Company. In 1963 they would further restructure their name to the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation. The cars that were being sold during these times were absolutely essential for the designs of today; they were big and powerful and had the performance many cars on the market lacked. These cars were just absolutely amazing. American Motors would soon take over the corporation and then would also take over Chrysler too. Then the new millennium would roll around and there would be a whole new generation of cars to look forward to. This company’s past is long and has many vehicles but they have learned a lot in those years of how to make a car and how to treat each and every one of their customers.
Recently, Chrysler Group LLC announced an organizational Structure focused on his brands, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Mopar Brands. Chrysler Group which is a new company formed in alliance with Fiat is intending to restore brand promises and dealer confidence among is name. This new company structure is focusing on development, manufacturing, distribution and sales for its organizations. Another key focus will be on providing world class approach to customer support and service.
