When you hear the name Mercedes-Benz your brain should conjure up pictures of well tuned luxury cars that have their own classy feel to them, but yet are still some of the most popular cars of today. Ever since the company was created Mercedes has been popular whether it was in Europe or the United States, they have stayed popular for over 50 years. A company coming out of nothing to be one of the biggest companies in the world today, The Mercedes company has been around for years and has never lost touch with its consumers. The only way that they could have done this was by having great vehicles and some great service to go along with those vehicles. Oh and one of the most important things to a company is its history, it is how they improve upon themselves.
Mercedes was started in 1886 by Karl Benz, the first automobile was made by this company and soon it would explode into an extravagant business. The first true Mercedes was made in 1901 after the Daimler-Benz merge. They were truly two men who were passionate about car making and it came into this. The reason that this company got its name was that the obvious Benz but one of the actual commissioner’s daughter was named Mercedes. That’s how they got their name. In 1926 the first of the Benz logo’s would appear the 3-pointed star, he made it this because he wanted it to represent that Mercedes built engines for land, sea, and air vehicles.
Many people enjoyed this vehicle because it was so luxurious and it had innovations never before seen in a car. The innovations included performance enhanced engines as well as many safety measures like the crumple design. These designs would save many lives in the future because they would take the impact and truly put it into those crumple zones so as not to absorb the whole impact. With these new technologies came new customers and a whole new wave of vehicles. The 300 SL was a great vehicle and many liked it. Not only was it one of the most popular vehicles of its time it is still considered a great vehicle today.
A lot of other vehicles would come in the history including ones you would never relate to a luxury vehicle like an SUV. The line up continues to get bigger and bigger and will hopefully grow to a size never before seen. It seems like the only thing that Mercedes doesn’t have is a type of truck but I bet that will all change soon when they realized that it would appeal to a lot of people. This company has proven to be the best out of all other luxury vehicles, who can challenge its power? These vehicles truly have something about them that no one else has. It just draws you in to everything you have ever wished for.
The cars that Mercedes offers range from roadsters to midsize SUV’s. They seem to have a quality that you can’t even talk about an unknown factor that just hides and hits you when you’re not expecting it. These vehicles may not have the best look about them but their performance and the interior are what really make me want to get one of these. The interiors are leather and offer a lot of comfort as well as pleasure. The performance along with this really brings the vehicles home. If I had one choice of vehicle it would definitely be one of these vehicles.
